Called To serve

BUENAS! Sorry I have been so bad at sending emails. We had an "open chapel"  this saturday  from 4-8 in the night. Our ward has been planning it for like 4 months. It was so AWESOME! We actually hit a record for the mission. We had 32 investigators come. The highest before was 30 in the sector of the AP´s. Sometimes they have 0-5 so it was super successful. President called me today to say good job haha. There is a service missionary couple who is in charge of helping wards put them on every weekend in different areas. The tour starts in the chapel where 2 hermanas gave an intro and they listened to the words of christ with the christus photo. Then they pass into the cultural hall where 2 other missionaries explain 8 banners about the restoration. Then they go into the baptismal font where 2 elders are dressed in white (baptismal clothing) and explain baptism and the holy ghost. Then they pass through the primary, young womens, young mens, priesthood, and relief society rooms...

SHOUTOUT: HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM (the 14th)! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH! Everyone send her lots of love :) This week was great. We had a baptism! She will be confirmed  in 2 weeks . We saw SO MANY miracles. Maria went to the temple and LOVED IT AND WANTS TO BRING ALL HER FAMILY. We have a haitiana named Sonia who is 9 months pregnant so she could not go to church because she was in pain but she calls her boyfriend every night to talk about what she read in the BOM. We also have a awesome guy named hactor who went to church and he already keeps the word of wisdom! #miracles. I had an intercambio with Elder Lord this week and it was great although it was RAINING SO HARD. My phone actually got so wet it stopped working and we lost all our contacts which was a real challenge this week and today we got a new phone and so now we will be trying to track down everyone again. My district went to Tumbes today! It was so fun!  SEE YOU IN A YEAR. Sorry this email was lame! Hope everyone ha...
