feb 19th: Transfer 5 week 1 HEY! Well Linares has been such a great place the last 6 months but it really is time for me to go to........ TALCAHUANO NORTE. I will finish the training of Elder Aroz from Santiago, Chile. I hope my spanish is good enough haha if I do not understand I will look at him and he will probbaly look at me like well you are my trainer.... I so do not feel ready to train but so excited to take this step! Do not have much time as I have to pack and say goodbye to everyone, but my week in a few bullet points.  Our prez made "COCO" the new mission movie and we are going to use in a lot in FHE and activites to get people to do family history to prepare for the temple dedication around September. Wrote notes on 60 photos of me in like all my free time this week because I knew I was going to leave. We leave pics of us with the members and investigators with our info to keep in touch. One day we we were teaching and the dude said, wait a sec, let me ge...

I have no time this week! But I had Zone Conference and we have 4 people with baptismal dates! 3 girls who are sisters and one other haitain named Orando (which in spanish means praying haha).  1. Went to our investigators houses this week and the jehovah's witnesses were inside teaching them haha. But they still came to our church. But so awk 2. My comp tells me I look like chicken little and that I talk so loud that I am always yelling haha 3. I got my package from my sisters! 4. There are so many people here who sell individual bandaides in the streets for 100 pesos. 5. The chileans have a syaing that the people who do not wear underwear are gringos. So this week someone asked me if I was wearing underwear or if I did before the mission because apparently they think that nobody in the states wears underwear. 6. My mish prez's wife Hermana Catala is SO STRONG. She recieved a call during our zone conference that her dad died (that or a little before.... it was l...

Ok I have no idea where to begin but I am trying to summariz ethis weeks into points. 1. First off, we baptized Cesarius. We went to the church about 2 hours before to turn on the font. I cleaned the baptismal room and my comp cleaned the font and turned it on. We come back at 7 pm and the baptism is at 7:30 and the font is no joke like 1/5 of the way full. My comp pressed the wrong button haha. SO I was like ok we are going to fill this up somehow. SO we all started filling up pitchers, pots, and containers from all the sinks and dumping it in. Then I found a hose but it would connect to the faucet so we had to hold the hose under the faucet so that the water would flow through. Safe to say we were sweating buckets and I looked like I was the one that got baptized after it was over. But miracle is that NONE of our investigators friends came at 7:30 and we felt so bad for him but the font still was not full so we pushed it back to 7:50 and ri...

So this week was great. We have a baptism this saturday for a haitian named cesarius. He is about 60 and seriously just always says feliz and thumbs up to everything we say through google translate. He only speaks kreol. But he understands all of the lessons! He is like a 4 year old but in a 60 year old body. Highlights: 1. Read 20 chapters of the BOM again this week haha. It is like my fav hobby in the mission haha 2. A drunk man grabbed my arm and was squeezing SO hard and digging his nails in and he would not let go and was screaming at me if I knew Trump. I finally plucked his fingers off after like 5 minutes and ran away with my comp haha 3. Watermelon with Toasted Flour is so good. Sounds so gross but it is no joke amazing. 4. It is 95 degrees here everyday with humidity. I am so excited for fall. 5. My comp told me I talk in my sleep. IN SPANISH. WHAT. Ok that is something I did not expect.  6. Officially convinced Thursdays are the worst day of the week. ...
