HOWDY! My thoughts of the week.

1. Chile does not have good cheese. I have tried so many different kinds and they just all do not tatse very good haha.
2. I had to give a talk this week in church. I gave it on Trusting in God and how we can trust in god by listening to the prophets voice  (both old prophets aka the scriptures and modern day prophets). It was pretty good and it was funnt becasue they called me to be the 3rd speaker which means if the other people do not speak long enough you have to fill in time until the hour is up. The first speaker spoke 5 mins. Then my comp spoke like 6 mins.... so then I had to give a talk for like 20 minutes!!! But I actually covered all my stuff in like 18 mins so i was only winging it for like 2 mins.

Updates on investigators.
1.Milagro. That is the name of our venezuelan investigator. We were really nervous bc she had a bapt date for this upcoming saturday and we had it confirmed from like 10 people that she was married but we had not taught the law of chastity. So we go to teach it and I straight up ask.... are you married haha. And she says no. i was heartbroken. So then she was sad when we explained she could not be baptized until she was married but her husband did not want to get married to waste money. So then, idk how but we got on the topic of the law and she tells us they ARE married by law but not in the church, but in venezuela if you are not married by the church nobody says their married. So then we all like JUMPED FOR JOY. and she came out and showed us her legal papers of the signing and everything when they were "united". And she is on date to be baptized the 21st! We hope her family progresses too! We are excited bc it does not cost money to be married in the temple soooo they could eventually be sealed as a family!
2. Silvana. She cried in our lesson of the restoration when she told us of a vision she had and it was SO COOL. She almost quoted exactly what joesph smith quoted what jesus looked like in his testimony in the book of mormon. We told her personal revelation is real and she really just wants to follow what jesus wants for her so she is praying to know if she should be baptized.
3. Emili and Joalit. They are on date to be baptized April 28th. They are 11 and twins but need to come to church a couple more times!
4. Carlos. He has all the lessons and wants to be baptized but needs to stop smoking! He is addicted and smokes about 4-6 everyday.
5. Rosmene. Haitaina who is great. She is friends with all the ward and a little hard to explain the lessons to her but with patience and time and hand motions and google translate in church....she understands. She has come to church 4 times and bc of the language barrier does not understand why she needs to be baptized again. But we are praying she gets to that point! She loves everything else!

I loved the talk by Dallin H. oaks where he quoted "by small and simple things great and powerful things come about." That is SO TRUE. We can apply that to literally anything. Playing piano... it is gonna start out rough but it will turn into a talent. Missionary work.... you will knock THOUSANDS of doors but eventually you are going to find the people ready to hear the gospel and it will change their lives. Scripture study, prayer, seminary, school, etc. everything is a long process but with time and steps the reward is incredible.

the rain started... so get ready for lots of pics in my waterproof (hopefully it is waterproof)....

They do not celebrate April Fools here so this was the best thing I could do. I ended my English class with this and told them all to try and translate it.

Last week on P-Day my zone ate lunch together

Spanish class for the Haitians

Well the rainy season has started. It is pouring outside right now.

My companion was a little tired and took a minute to rest on the hill
