HEY! I am just going to say sorry now for the essay I wrote.

This week was SO GOOD although it felt semi uneventful. Quick rundown: Monday we had P day we took the bus to Chillan as we had Zone Conf  on Tuesday and we had to be there early so we slept at the zone leader´s house. Tuesday we had zone conf ALL DAY. It was so fun to see a ton of my friends and my KID in the mish (elder aros) and we learned all about the difference between being clean and pure. One is superficial and the other is  We also heard the news from the prophet that we are not called MORMONS rather LATTER DAY SAINTS. We as a mission need to work on that as everyone says ¨OH NO NOT THE MORMONS AGAIN¨ haha. Wednesday I had an intercambio with an elder in my district, Elder Rivera from Peru, in his sector in Bulnes. Thursday we knocked a lot. Friday we had our ward Family Home Evening and we played minute to win it games. Saturday we had a zone attack in Chillan at an big open market. We have this huge banner of the temple with the open house information and we had like 20 missionaries there and like 6 of sang hymns all morning while holding up the banner while the other 14 people passed out cards to EVERYONE. We legit passed out thousands of invitations. It was so noisy though so I was legit SCREAMING the hymns so everyone could hear me. Then in the afternoon we did divisions with members. Sunday we had to go to Chillan again for a televised conference with the stake only for Chile. Elder Forester, Sister Frank, Elder Christofferson, and President Oaks spoke specifically about tithing, the temple, and coming to church every week (things chile struggles with). Then we had a baptism Sunday night! His name is Diego. He is 12. I baptized him and lets just say we both ended up on the ground in the font haha. He fell and took me down with him. He def then wanted to swim around after as it was his first time in a tub filled with hot water. IT WAS SUCH A GOOD DAY. The best part is when we were drying off afterwards he told me felt totally clean and that he felt the presence of Jesus come into his life when he came up out of the water. Something that really touched me is when the mom told me lots of other missionaries have passed by but there was something different about us. I KNOW there are people waiting out there. And waiting for us. For some people, they are waiting for me. For others, they are waiting for another missionary that will pass by in 3 years. We all have the people we are supposed to find. I love this work. There really is nothing more joy filling than watching someone you helped find the true church. There is nothing that will keep this work from rolling forward.

This week I was thinking about signs as I have a couple investigators in my district who want a vision or something similar. There is a story in the Book of Mormon about a man named Sherem who denied Christ and spent his days leading others away from Christ. He demanded a sign from the prophet Jacob that Christ would come. As a result, he was smitten by God and a couple days later died. On his deathbed he testified to all the people that he had lied and he denied everything he had originally taught. THE POINT: obviously this does not just happen on a regular basis and anyone who wants a sign is not going to get smitten by God, but rather he waited too long to accept Christ and as a result, he received his consequence. Who are we, legit nothing compared to God, to test God. To put our own terms of how we want something. We are all natural human beings and would like a sign, but we do not know the will of God, and we could just be waiting forever to have a vision when in reality the way we can know if the things are true is by our feelings. If we feel good about something, that is the spirit testifying to us something is true. I love being a missionary to help people understand the spirit more clearly and to help them act upon their feelings so they can spiritually progress. Fav scrip of the week: Jacob 7:3.
