FAM. Ok I SO CALLED IT LAST WEEK ABOUT 2 HOUR CHURCH. ALSO 12 NEW TEMPLES WHAT. IN CALI! I looked it up and yuba city is exactly 2 hours away from danville. So this week was pretty depressing. It actually like broke me haha. Some of the best people we are teaching (Jerallin and Fabian and like 2 others who you do not know) we had to drop because they do not want to go to church.... ever. It was pretty sad because they already said yes to baptism and everything but to church it was a hard no. We thought everything was going good... they were set up to come to conference. We called and passed by before to verify...then we went to go pick them up and they ALL bailed-had an excuse even though they were not busy. So we dropped like our 3 best people. I am not going to lie I am starting to hate this sector. I love some of the members but just everything is falling apart. I am totally fine it just stinks when this happens and especially for my new companion. He is going to think I am the worst missionary haha. And nothing is going good for the hermanas here either. We have another lady who has a 9 year old daughter who could be good but her boyfriend is controlling and would not let them go to church. We are not teaching her bc she is living with her boyfriend and does not have plans to get married. But she sent us a text very worried that we would be offended that she could not come bc her boyfriend was at home and would not let her leave so that shows me she cares. We have those 2 little kids alex and alexander who I talked about last week... their mom got mad at us bc her kids got bad grades. We had a member come with us and she made a deal. We are not going to pass by all week so they raise their notes bc they ADORE us... and if they raise their notes they are allowed to come to church... I really hope she holds up her end. They have a cousin named Paloma who is also interested... the only thing that stinks is that none of these kids have parent support to be in the gospel. Other than them we are kind of just in finding mode.. we have some other potential people but nobody good. My comp got sick this week and threw up all night Friday so we had to stay in basically all day on Saturday... yes we went to conf but did nothing else. Yes he feels better now. Wednesday we went to the temple for the 2nd and last time we are allowed to go. This time the tour was way longer and we got to go in the initiatory and bride room bc the tour guide was my member friend who I made at the checkout line in Walmart lol. I saw her like every time I went there when I was in Talcahuano and now she LOVES ME even though I do not even know her name haha. THE BRIDES ROOM IS SO NICE WHAT THE HECK. I HAD NO IDEA THERE EVEN WAS A BRIDE ROOM IN THE TEMPLE. I loved conference. I loved the talks given by Dallin H. Oaks, Ulisses Soares, Bonnie H. Cordon, Jeffrey R. Holland, Russell M. Nelson, Matthew L. Carpenter. I also really liked a couple others but those 6 were my favorite. I saw Melou in the choir a lot and I told everyone she was my friend haha. I also am pretty sure I saw Josh Cooke in the MTC choiR???? We had the culture night activity and we had a better turnout than last week when 0 came haha. We had like 17 people come not including little kids... given basically all were members but I guess we have to start somewhere right. This week hopefully we have even more people come to the talent show. I found SUCH A GOOD SONG ON MORMON CHANNEL when we were waiting for conference to start. It is a music video called Ï Am Here' Bonner Family¨. Tell me what talks you liked! I thought we were going to receive more changes relating to the missionaries bc President and Hermana Catala received an email from the 1st presidency saying that we would see changes regarding to the missionaries in conference... but nothing changed. Also I was surprised that MOTAB changed their name but obvi they had to. LOL we were all joking how they are changing everything... so we were all like maybe the name of the book of mormon will be changed too haha. ALSO. MOM I GOT YOUR PACKAGE. I took a video like I always do but I can't send it.

THE MTC- Week #5

Hey peeps! This week was so insane. So first off, next time I email I will be in Chile! I leave Monday afternoon and take a Red Eye there. Also, i am officially the oldest in the MTC, which means that people see my little green sticker on my nametag and think we are so cool. It is actually kind of funny because I never felt that way about people with stickers before. We also got a new district in our zone, so me and comp had to go meet them and do a question and answer as the zone leaders. I feel like it was JUST me yesterday, so it felt super weird. My district sang in sacrament on sunday a mashup of "come, come ye saints and lead kimdñy light" and let me tell you it was bomb. We also had to plan the sacrament meeting as the ZLs and we had to choose 6 speakers and every time their name was called in sacrament they would give us a death glare like UH WHY DID YOU PICK ME. We also had to teach priesthood for the branch, so to say the least this week was busy. Something kind...

In the words of my brother in law Jeff... What´s up party people, This week was so good. We followed president´s orders and organized and cleaned out the whole area book- threw out all the people who did not go to church or did not show interest. So we went through every progress record and lesson record to see who we would save. We ended up with a pile of like 50 people to call and show up at their door. Well out of the 30 that we had time to go to this past week... about 5 have interest... and two came to church.... but he is living with a Venezuelan. We are going to talk to them this week about marriage. We are going to visit the rest this week. Yuyu came to church. She is so close to baptism ah. I really do not know how else to help her. She knows everything and wants to believe it is true and thinks it is true but she wants a yes or no answer. We have taught her she has already received her answer but she won´t accept that. ALOHA. I miss hawaii this week as it randomly got REALLY hot. It is always cold in the morning and night but the HEAT came during the day. Ok wow I always freak out when I am writing because I always have so many things happen and I have so little time. BUT sorry no pics this week, I forogt my chord. Anyways in no specific order there are some crazy things. So missionaies dont eat dinner here. We eat a freakishly large lunch, like very large, and i swear I am going to explode after after time i eat. Andyou have to eat it all. Not gonna lie, I have stuffed some things in my pocket. So we eat at  1:30  with members and then eat a snack when we get home at  9:30 . Also today is Chile's independance day (equiv of our  4th of july ). So I guess it a law here that everyone has to have a chile flag in their window or hanging up outside or you will get a ticket, so we had to go buy one under the direction of the mish prez.
