EVERYONE. My title refers to my own face. It is so hot here my face (in reality my whole body) is always drenched with sweat. I live in an oven. I do not even care but I am completely breaking out.

1. MIRACLE: YUYU is getting baptized next monday. So last week we got her to put a goal for the end of february (but like not at all official). But the date wa a secret... we were not allowed to tell her family because she did not ant to get them excited for nothing if she was not going to get baptized that day. Then on Tuesday we had a lesson planned in the church with a psychologist member from our ward to help us figure out how to help her... an hour before the psycholgist canceled. We were nervous because I felt like I had done literally everything in my power to help her. I have left over 30 specific chapters in the Book of the Mormon, I bought her a triple combination so she could read more, she went to the temple, we had done Family Home Evenings, interviews, had gone to baptisms, and weekly assistence in church and all the activities, and daily verification of reading, praying, and watching mormon messages and talks. Literally way more than we do with most people. But I KNEW she had potential. Actually... the other leader who did the interviews for her told me I should drop her. My comp and I could not do that. So you could imagine Tuesday night I was very antsy. She got to the church and just broke down and told us she had been let go and her family is in a very bad economic situation (her sister´s birthday was Friday and they barely could afford a cake). Anyways, ALMOST 2.5 HOURS LATER after many tears, scriptures, and testimonies... she signed her baptismal form and accepted a date for the 23rd. But not a date that was fully set eithier but way closer. But it was still a secret and the family and ward had no idea. So then I had 2 exchanges Wednesday and Thursday where I had to go interview a ton of people. Friday my companion was super weird all day and kept telling me how happy he was. He is not super energetic like I am so I was like what is going on with him... I thought he had gotten a letter from his girlfriend or that he knew something about the transfers and was happy or something similar. But I kid you not like 98 times he told me was so happy and was just like jumping for joy but he did not tell me why. Then friday the family invited us over to eat cake and sing happy birthday for Yuyu´s sister. It was a surprise so I thought Yuyu had the cake hidden in her backpack. So suddenly Yuyu tells everyone she has something to say (me thinking she was going to pull out the cake to sing happy birthday..... I start recording on my camera).... she then PULLS OUT HER BAPTISMAL FORM AND SHOWS IT TO HER FAMILY AND SAYS SHE RECIEVED HER ANSWER ON THURSDAY AND IS GETTING BAPTIZED. My mouth fully dropped I wish you could see it in replay and then I screamed for joy and I have never been happier in my mission. Actually I would put it up there for one of the happiest moments of my life. My comp had called her when I was in my exchange and she could not lie about it so she told him and he knew the whole time hence why he was so happy all day. But she told him not to tell me bc she wanted to be in front of me to see my reaction. And then she told everyone and the ward is so excited and she is now going to be baptized on the 11th so that her friend who is leaving to serve the mission on the 13th can be there. YAY AH. MIRACLES EXIST.
2. Family History Nerd (not rude I am a total nerd). We ate lunch with a lady who has gone to salt lake city several times to do worldwide church conferences for familysearch in spanish, is the president of all family history centers in the mission, is the stake director of family history, and president of non church affiliated family history organization. She was hammering me the whole time about family history and let me just say... I need to work on it. She had SO much enthusiasm to do it she got me pumped.
3. Talent Show: I sang and my comp and I and 2 other members planned a FUNNY skit. One of those little people skits where my body is in front of a curtain but my comp is behind the curtain and uses his arms. Idk if that made sense. I will try to send videos.
4. Funny: people wash their cars here with brooms.
5. Funny: I was in an exchange walking home and we knocked a house only because it was extremely rich looking... a lady opened the door and invited us in to eat and she was sitting out by her pool with 2 jehovahs witnesses... when they saw us they left right away. They do not like us here.
6. Normal culture here is to sell basic food items in trucks in the streets. So everyday multiple trucks pass outside of your house (with a terribly staticy microphone that took me like a year to understand that still is almost impossible to understand even for chileans)... anyways they pass by literally saying "big eggs, small eggs, egsssssss, watermelon, potatoes richhhhhhh potatoes, cantaloupe, tomato, onion, lemon, eeggggggggggggssssss" HAHA I am not exagerating.
